Taichi Kozaki

Experience Designer based in Berlin

What does it take to build strong brands that can thrive in the hyper-connected age? This is the question I ask myself whenever I take on a new project. I partner with my clients to rethink the way the brand engage with customers and create a unique experience to help them build meaningful relationships with them over time.

Clients that I have worked closely with:

Dyson - UK

Vail Resorts - USA

SONIC® Drive-in - USA

Techstar Metro Accelerator - Germany

Shiseido Professional - Japan

Akbank - Turkey

In case you are wondering where I have lived...

It's a long story.

Tokyo, Japan

–2006

Grew up in Tokyo dreaming about my world beyond dealing with overly crowded commuter trains every day.

Phoenix, AZ

2006–2007

Discovered my love with a late-night Arizona burrito at Filiberto's and sipping horchata under the 105ºF/40ºC weather.

Seattle, WA

2008–2011

Prepped a portfolio for my art schools admission at a community college while my parents were thinking that I was applying for University Washington's Business School on the other side of the Pacific.

Savannah, GA

2011–2013

I spent most of my time in front of a poorly equipped MacBook running all things Adobe or drinking PBR out of red solo cups.

New York City, NY

2012

Didn't get accepted to any Summer internship in NYC, so I signed up for a summer school and went there anyway.

Austin, TX

2013–2014

Tacos🌮, Music🎷, Bicycle🚴, Yoga🤸🏽‍♂️ and Cortado☕️.

"but... no, I am not a hipster."

London, UK

2014–2016

London was so expensive; I learned how to negotiate at fried chicken shops to get extra drumsticks with loose changes in my pocket.

Austin, TX

2016–2018

Admitting the fact that I might be a hipster. Moved back to 300 days of Sunshine.

Berlin, Germany

2019–

Because Berlin was calling me…
